Hello all, I've encountered an interesting 'thing' here.
We do a little Cerakoting, and we've been asked to do some steel heavy duty Nightforce rings.
We've done lots of rings before, just not Nightforce and suddenly find that we can't simply remove the locking nut of the cross-bolt that attaches to your favorite rail, as it's set up so that it won't spin off the end (prevents losing it I think).
Has anyone taken Nighforce rings apart completely?
We'd prefer to have individual parts to work with, and not have to 'fiddle' pieces while we first sandblast them, then Coat them.
Any suggestions?
-D.
