Nightforce NXS Proprietary Threads - Anyone have info?

Does anyone have info on the NF NXS threads? I've always been told it's "proprietary" and I am no machinist.

It would just be nice to have a flip up lens caps.

I have the But Creeks and while they work they are definitely not the best looking thing.

While I am not a machinist of any sort I have had a product drawn up for the NXS that I believe would sell aside from it's value as a simple lens cap.

I would love to be able to put a butler creek on the eyepiece of my NXS but I cannot stand the thing turning side to side as I adjust my power up and down. Highly aggravating.

Check out Tenebreax covers. I didn't like the Butler Creeks either, I'm very happy with the Tenebreax on my 5.5-22x50 NXS.

I dont know what the threads are , but i screwed a leupold 50 mm flip up lens cap in my nightforce. fit perfect

Thanks for the Tene info. I've looked into their products before since they made the ARDs for NF threads but I either missed the flip caps or looked at a vendor with limited products.
