Nightforce limits

I'd like to use a Nightforce 12-42 x 56 scope with Harrells offset rings. Is the 40 moa hor. adjustment compatible with the amount of offset

Thanks,

Gerry

Yes.... it will work fine

I have a test rig where the scope is not mounted on the barreled action, and is mounted several inches to the right, on the chassis. I use the same scope (NF 12x42 BR) with it, and have plenty of turret travel. Think mine has 44-minutes of travel (22" on each side of center at 100yds).

Donovan,

Thanks for clearing that up. And sorry to all, I should have posted this in the scope section.

@joshb (CC: @garandman )

Was asked to and did post it in the "Frankengun" thread.
I call it my "spin test chassis" and use it just for that: to test indexed positions of a barrel (and black magic stuff !.!.!).
Surprisingly it tracks and shoots very well (would not be afraid to shoot a match with it, sort to speak).

:cool:
