Nightforce Fixed 42X Competition Reticle Change

Hello All,
I recently picked up the Nightforce Competition Fixed 42X with the CTR-3 Reticle.
The fine cross hair doesn't help when trying to do wind hold overs; there's no fixed point of reference to hold the spot.
I really like the FCR-1 for this purpose.

Usually Nightforce has a option to send to them and change reticles but was told because it's a discontinued scope they won't do it. They just have a supply of parts for repairs.

Any aftermarket or professional out there that does this kind of work?

The reticle is etched into the lens on the NF scope and the lens would have to be replaced with a new lens that has the reticle you want. Doubt that anyone other than the factory could/would do the change since a new lens is needed.

Best option is sell the scope and get one with a reticle you prefer.
