Nightforce Competition Scopes

Hi all,

Looking for feedback/comments on Nightforce Competition 15-55x52 FCR-1 reticle, new for 2014. Anyone using this one?
Thanks

Yes, and it is MUCH better than the 2013 models. And like the 2013s, it has the clearest glass I've ever seen (better than the S&B even). The only complaint I have about it is I could not get enough elevation out of it, even with a 20 moa base, to shoot a mile. I had to use my Schmidt and Bender PMII to make my 1 mile prairie dog kill.

I'm using the 2013 model on my .308. I love mine and especially for those close out prices! WOW. I got a super price on mine and the close out prices are still a few hundred bucks less. ??? Optics are good and clear. My main compliant with the 2013 model is 5 moa per revolution. Knock on wood, it has not caused me to lose track of my zero, but that is one bad feature with it. I'm using the dot reticle. Eye relief I think is plenty for .308 shooting 185's at ~2550-2570 rifle weighs ~15#. Not sure how it would do with the big boomers for eye relief... but I heard that could be a possible concern.

The 2014 model has 10MOA per revolution along with zero stop (standard feature) which is plenty for 600/1000 yard matches. Nice to hear the positive comments about the clarity of glass.

glass is flawless! and as much as I love the discount price of the 2013 I sold mine off and bought 2014's cuz the 10MOA turret is great! feels so positive and easy to see.
