Currently using the 15-55 DDR2. I will not be selling itFolks, I am looking at the NF competition scope to shoot 600 and 1000 yard BR, Can I get opinions on quality, price, the good and the bad?

Thank you for replying.Had one, sold it. Not because I had any issues with it as it worked fine. You will see many of them on the line.
Opinions on a scope to shoot 600/1000 by comparison to NF Comp based on weight and cost considerations:
-I prefer the NF BR 12-42 over the comp.
-My choice for a good BR scope for about 1K less is Sightron SIII
-My Choice over NF Comp for the same price range is Sightron SVSSED with superfine focus and ED glass
-Next level would be March HM scopes or even a Kahles
-Top would be Valdada 52x or 60x
The scopes above range from $1100-$3400. They are all good scopes in my opinion. Weight and cost all have their place. I didn't mention Vortex GE by comparison as it didn't work for my eyes.
I have nothing bad to say about the Competition scope other than I think it is over-priced due to their marketing rather than what it should be. Doing a side by side comparison, with other people, we found the glass quality to be no different than the BR 12-42 and that image was preferred over the Comp - likely due to the better light gathering of the larger objective on the BR scope.
I wouldn't pay full price for one. I wouldn't pass one up if it was a great deal either.
that is not a valid comparison. the nf goes to 55x the sb to 25x..yes mirage will look better, but at half the magnificationI have two of these and was able to reach high master utilizing the NF Competition scopes. But like all optics you either have one that holds zero and tracks well...or not. In full disclosure I did let one of mine go to upgrade to a Schmidt Bender PMII which seems to cut the mirage at 1K a bit, at least to my eye.
Maybe do a little homework first.that is not a valid comparison. the nf goes to 55x the sb to 25x..yes mirage will look better, but at half the magnification
So the S&B PMII is no comparison to the NF Competition? The magnification between 50 and 55 power would be negligible in regards to mirage. I have posted the specs below as it seems a little out of your grasp to obtain such hard to locate information....you don't have to click any links or anything!that is not a valid comparison. the nf goes to 55x the sb to 25x..yes mirage will look better, but at half the magnification
i did a search,only 25s showed up...50 is a valid comparisonMaybe do a little homework first.
