Nightforce Competition Question

I am in the market for either one of the competition scopes or a discontinued 12-42 NXS. I see what seems to be a lot of people buying the Competition model and then selling it. Did it just not live up to expectations? The percent selling may be small also and that is another reason for asking. Just trying to figure out if its worth the extra money for me. I probably will only be shooting max 600 yards. It will be on a XLR chassis and the 52mm instead of 56 may be nice to not have it so high.

I'm in the same position with the same question, but I get the feeling that if someone does have complaints we're not going to hear them until after a few more get sold.

The competition has one advantage, weight........ sold one......went back to the NXS..... jim
