Nightforce recommends setting the diopter ring at high magnification…I alwaus use high to check because 99 percent of the time I am on high, not sure if it actually matters though.
So do what I did. Take 1 lense out of an old pair. I am lucky in that my left eye is near sighted and right is farsighted. So even with no right lense if I look out at flags with both eyes I see them just fine. The problem I have that at the moment is if I remove my glass I have good luck dialing scope to a crisp focus but my left eye as a right hand shooter can’t see flags or anything else. So no glasses with my limited experience is left eye closed.

Nightforce has a procedure that says: Magnification at maximum, parallax at Infinity, look at sky, adjust eyepiece focus for max clarity, look only for 3-4 seconds, make adjustment, look again.Does it matter where the magnification is set? High, low or in between?
