nightforce 12-42x56

what reticle are you using in the benchrest 12-42x56 Nightforce?
I was thinking maybe the 2DD would be good for varmints and bench shooting.

I have a few BR's and a couple of NXS's and they all have the DD reticule, and all I do is shoot critters with them.......

I have a one mile range on my property and i use a 2dd for that. I hate cluttered and large reticles.

I slay whistle pigs with one,

I compete in F-class with one as well. It is a fantastic reticle

There are a few people on this site who really know what long range shooting is all about. With that said; Preacher was one of the people I read a lot of posts about long range shooting. Donovan Moran was another. I listened and now I have four,4) rifles with NightForce scopes and the NP-2DD reticle. Even my 'boomer', a VIERSCO.com Snipe-Tac 338,338-408) wears a NightForce 5.5x22x56NSX with the NP-2DD reticle. As PREACHER says, "the less clutter the better". If you are a 'Clicker', this scope and reticle combination is what you need.

Here's the secret: The NP-2DD has a tapered reticle. Your brain, through your eyes, automatically focuses towatd the center of the sight picture due to the taper and the image is sent to the brain,,my brain anyway). REALLY, that's how it works. It's that simple!!

"The mind is a terrible thing to waste"!![

If you buy one and try it,,, it will not be posted on this,or any site) for sale in the future. If it is,,, I will be looking to buy it.
