I stumbled across a youtube done by a retired brit sniper promoting a gadget he makes. I can see it being a great aid for certain shooting situations and esp when light breeze is from non cheek side. Took about a week to arrive in Oregon from the UK. Was under $100 and it is top notch quality aluminum machined with nice carry case. Sturdy but very sensitive! just a fyi for fellow gadget collectors. Look forward to trying it out.

Seeing like it would be more helpful if it could be placed such that it could be seen without breaking cheekweld.

I use one of these on the bench.
Much cheaper & super sensitive.
I use a different base of a small chunk of 1 1/2" shafting I had laying around

I checked my bill..the brit one was 72 bucks to my door. I would say for non-bench field use the brit is much more robust and designed for transport with a case.

We use local marine suppliers but any national supplier should as well. i.e. West Marine, Defender, etc.
I actually work at a boatyard & ospreys get into the ears quite often so they get new ones. Nothing wrong with the indicator usually. You ditch those ears anyhow.

Yeah..different animal. like i said you dont put a sail boat indicator into your pack when going out into the field.

interesting... it would be very easy to modify a tripod/lab radar base to hold some of these products.
