Nicest Shooting Ranges in America

Well what type of range are you looking for? Best of everything? Short or long range? PRS style? ELR? Steel? IDPA/IPSC? Or just “nicest” in general?

Are you referring to nice as in landscape and groomed or nice as in Bunny course or nice as in friendly?

Great range for bench rest shooting at 50, 100. 200 300 600 yards. Nice concrete benches that are covered out of the sun/ rain . Club house

Brrc has that and even more. 60 benches. Benchrest world championship hosted there a couple years ago. Truly a world class facility

For 1000yd BR Williamsport is a beautiful range. The pits are great, there is plenty of room between the benches ( that are all new including the cover/overhang ) and the "set-up" area for your equip. is well thought out. The location scenery is beautiful.....But Mother Nature can be a Bitch at times....;)

Rick

The Original PA 1000 Yard Benchrest Club, 197 Kelly Road, Trout Run, PA 17771

100 yard zeroing/plinking range, 200 yard .22Lr only range, and of course the 1000 yard range. You must be a member to shoot or must be accompanied by a member on a match weekend. We are not a public range and have strict rules governing the use of our facilities due to safety.

Here’s a link.

I shot at Winnequah years ago when I was competing in pistol courses. Nice folks at that time although it's been quite a while since I was back there.

Not meaning to hijack the OP but I lived in ULM W Ger. back in the day for a year and there was an indoor range with 100 M rifle and Skeet..yes indoor
check it out Also it was beautifully appointed and had a phenomenal gun shop

Ben Avery Phoenix, home of Desert Sharpshooters, 1650 acres, campsites, cowboy action, benchrest, archery, long range, high-power range with 100 firing points, hotels and restaurants very very close. Home of Southwest Nationals. Also we shoot year round,

Down in farming country in extreme NE Louisiana, we have a very nice range. It is the Prince Memorial at Pioneer, LA (West Carroll Parish). It has a pistol range, shotgun and rifle ranges to 600 yards for Benchrest and ~ 850yds. for PRS competition. Good shooting...James

Or nice as in Shelby County Deer Hunters near Sydney, Ohio. 100/200 yard benchrest with a good valley between the firing line and 200 yard targets. You need 22 foot wind-flag poles. Nice club house, reloading porch on the club house and reloading barn. Nice hill back of the line and club house for reloading or camping.
