NF Competition for Rimfire Benchrest?

Am keen to get some feedback on the NF Competition 15-55x52 for Rimfire Benchrest (50m).

My reasons for considering this is that the scope may also get some use in F-Class if for some reason I changed my setup in the future, and that I like it's fast-focus "eu-style" eyepiece as my 14 yr old daughter shoots the same rifle and her reticle focus is quite different to mine, making it possibly easier to adapt between us.

Reticle-wise though the CRT-3 fine crosshair with 0.095 MOA dot would probably be better, I think the DDR-2 with its thick outer 'strata' also with a 0.095 MOA dot may be more versatile, and again my daughter will probably find it easier to use.

My other option would be the March 10-60x52 Benchrest [I shoot a HM in F Class], but I have always wanted to try a NF Comp.

Keen to get peoples feedback on the NF Comp 15-55x52 for rimfire.

i use one.. you'll be good to go i feel, but i also have the Sightron SV (S5) 10x50-60 and really like that scope a lot.. you should consider it

I use one with the DDR-2 for Benchrest on my 2500X and on my Vudoo for KYL no problems

Thanks, yes I have heard they are extremely good. I will look further at these.

I really like the NF competition scope. I them on my 22’s (fine cross hair) to my smokeless muzzleloader bench gun (fine cross hair with a dot). So far I’ve used them from 33 yards to 750 yards with no issues.

And for some reason my NF scopes keeps having babies.......

I need a little help. I have a Vortex Venom 5-25x 56mm and a Athlon Helos BTR GEN2 6-24x 56mm on two of my .22's. These are both FFP. I really like the reticle on the Vortex but the clarity and eye box are not great. The Athlon has great clarity and a bigger eye box but the reticle is too thick. These are $500 - $600 scopes.

What would be a better scope for target shooting in the $600 to $1000 price range?

I have used the NF 15x55 for several years on both 22LR and 308's in F Class. With the 22LR specifically ... it works great from 50 yards to 100 yards , very clear and repeatable with yardage changes. My experience with Smallbore F Class, it's won many Championships and National titles for me. I only use the FCR-1reticle. I like that reticle for holding off while in a string of record fire.

The NF 40X fine X hair...excellent for 22 RF,will focus down less than 25 yds.Use it on my BR Air Rifle also.....
These were made in Japan ,no longer available.They went for about $900.00
