NF Comp 15-55x52: Sell FCR-1 for DDR-2 ?

The DDR-2 is used on all my F-Class rigs. I received the FCR-1 as a gift but the holdover reticles are too busy for my preference & applications. Will I save hassle, money, and time buy selling privately or is NF a Nightmare of customer service?
Opinions of fair resale value in “like new” condition?
