I’m not sure I view this as a good thing. Trump was going to easily beat Biden. Who knows what candidate the democrats will nominate that could beat Trump.

Joe has plenty of time to pardon Hunter, but only for convictions. Joe will remain pres until Jan, no matter who wins. If a dem wins, they will pardon any convictions after Joe is out of office(part of the stepping aside deal). If Trump/Vance win, Joe will pardon Hunter after the election, but the tax evasion case could still be a big Biden family problem. Trump only has to push the Dem "achievements", fuel,food,housing, insurance cost increases. Immigration, crime increasing. World W111 and Dems funding Iran. Of course if a large scale war does occur, marshal law could be invoked(no Fed elections). Joe would remain pres. If Joe would leave office early, Harris would appoint a vp (subject to confirmation by House and Senate).

There is the matter of ~$90 million in the Biden-Harris campaign fund. That fund is not available to 'whoever'. If it's not Harris, the nominee starts with zilch in the campaign coffers. I'm not sure which would be a more direct path to failure . . . Harris, or no money.
