Not a newcomer, but excellent information.
Every new hand-loader should purchase the latest edition of a good manual, Speer is good as is Lyman. After reading cover to cover, acquire a current manual from a bullet maker. Read it and then undertake hand-loading. After some reading, online data from reputable sources is useful.
