I have been reading and reading here and thank everyone that contributes their knowledge to the forum. I am currently in the process of building (actually I purchased the parts and the gunsmith does the building part) a 308 rifle for F Class TR, but starting the next project for a 6mm F Class rifle. The question comes from the research here, trying to decided between 6mmBR vs 6XC. If the 6XC brass can be formed from a 22-250 brass and the rim diameter is .473, or you can purchase either Norma or Lapua brass, why is the Norma brass rim diameter .468? And is this difference in diameter something I should be concerned about and just order the new action with the standard .473 size brass bolt face? (BAT actually uses .483 for the 308 bolt face)
At least I am not going to ask which (BR or XC) one should I use.
