I finaly have a rifle that I can be competitive with. Custom 6 BR, BAT, Krieger, Shehane, Jewell and Leupold 1/12.
What are the major differences between IBS and NBRSA rules?
What class or category or range would I want to shoot.
Where can I find a list of upcoming shoots. I've been to the IBS site and can't find a listing of shoots.

Twud, what discipline of shooting are you interested in ? Longrange Benchrest,600 or 1000 yd.), group BR, score, F class or even egg shoots and groundhog matches. ? If we knew where your interests lay we could better point you in the right direction.

Go to the closest gun ranges in your area and meet some locals who shoot. If the range has a website there will most likely be an event schedule on thier web site. Also do a search for shooting clubs in your area they will also have events posted on their sights.
