Newbie question

I purchased a used,never fired, but from a private party) Virgin Valley Encore Barrel marked 6mm BR Remington. What should I assume/not assume about which brass to start with? I'd prefer Lapua but I'm confused about chamber dimensions and various brass manufaturers.

I would try to measure your neck diameter/chamber dimensions. I have never used it but Sinclair sells "Cerrosafe" for this purpose. Once you have your neck diameter and chamber dimensions it would be easier to answer questions for you.
