Hey folks. I have been doing optics reviews from time to time and the one thing I've always lacked for taking photos through the optics is a good smartphone digiscoping adapter. I also just like to take photos and videos of game while out scouting or hunting in the field.
I have a "PhoneSkope" adapter for my Swarovski ATX spotting scope, but they are cheap 3D printed plastic cases and all adapters are optic specific. Cant leave the case on because its not very protective so I always had to swap cases back and forth on my phone when using it. I changed phones recently and didn't want to buy another PhoneSkope, so I started searching for something better and it seems I have found it.
'Tines UP' came out with this new universal smartphone adapter last year and it is probably the best built and most compact design I have seen yet. Made from billet aircraft grade aluminum and works on any optics from binoculars, to riflescope, and even spotters with large eye pieces like Swarovski. I ordered the Otter Box universal kit for my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 smartphone so it's a nice protective case that I can just leave on all the time. You can also buy the kit with just the piece that adheres onto your existing case. Looking forward to seeing how well it works. After watching multiple video reviews, it seems that this will be a major upgrade from my old PhoneSkope adapter. Cant wait.
