New Trigger Suggestion?

I'm building a new 6BR for F-Class and need to buy a trigger. It's going on a BAT action.

Can you guys suggest a trigger for me?

And, what trigger pull weight should I be looking at?

My current F/TR rifle's trigger is at 1.65#.

The Jewell BR is set at 1.5 ozs. The Jewell HVR comes with 3 different springs so you can set it from 1.5 oz. to 3.5 lbs.
If you want an all around trigger, I recommend the HVR.

Would a trigger with a bit more pull weight be out of the question?

Does anyone make one with say, a pull weight between 8 oz and 1#? Not really sure I can warm up to a 3 oz trigger weight.

And I will provide a respectful counterpoint to Steve's suggestion... I can shoot a 2 oz trigger off the bench without issue, couldn't do it prone... Went to a Jewell HVR and have it set at 8 oz.... Perfecto for me & my F/Open rigs..

The HVR comes with 3 sets of springs so you can change weights to get it where you want it.

What's a bench? J/K. I have only shot prone FTR and FPR, so I didn't have a transition to make.
To most people the ideal setting is around 6-8 ozs. I guess I'm a sadist at 1.5. Having said that, I am building a .308 FTR/FPR rifle. It will have the HVR trigger on it set at around 8 ozs.

1.5 oz trigger? That's crazy!!!, who would shoot something that heavy? :o

I blueprinted my Jewell and it is set at 1 oz, now I don't have to feel like I need a winch to pull that heavy a$$ 1.5 oz trigger! ;D

Jewell HVR 6.5oz

1oz trigger? is that the one that if you think about pulling the trigger, the round is already down range! :o lol

8) I stand in awe of you sir! Lol

I tried a friends 1.5 oz trigger at 100 yards. 2 shots went off when I wanted them too. And 2 went off when I didn't, Good thing was that I was already on target and did 2 bug holes. ;D

Then what are you complaining about? :)
It does take a little getting used to for sure.

Doesn't take long to get used to it. Before you know it, your trigger finger will be spoiled and in need of all new triggers! ;D

Has anyone tried a CG Jackson tactical trigger yet? if so, how are the adjustments? The only 2 stage trigger i have experience with is on my TRG-42.
Thanks
