Neal Cooper (358Hammer) rear grip stock, (Killer finish 8)) .204 Ruger stainless steel Benchmark straight pipe, 16" long.
Savage Model 12 left hand repeater action, T&T , fluted bolt body and single shot sled by Sharp Shooter Supply.
Custom made tactical style bolt handle.
Lots of stock work needed to fit a Whilen V Block without doing damage to the finish. Patience and perservence will get the job done. ;) Should be a nice low recoil bug hole shooter.

Just set the action/barrel assemble in the stock so I would know what I had to deal with as far as fitting and to see what the final product would look like. Nothing tightened down yet and no recoil lug. Waiting for dies and brass so I can set the headspace.
Lots of fitting involved to get it "just right". No use getting in a hurry and screwing up that "Beautiful" stock finish.
Screw holes don't match up "just right" but I was ready for that.
He made me an offer "I couldn't refuse". Hadn't planned on building anything for a while but this is one I just couldn't pass up.
I need to get it ready and see how the recoil is. I would like to see the hits through the scope. May be just right but range time will tell for sure.
Even considered a set back to 20 Fireball but I'll fire it and have something to compare. The heavy barrel may prove to be just right in that caliber.

That stock looks really sweet. Is it real carbon fiber ? I love the color,it would match my 1967 mustang quite nicely.

Jon: The stock is laminated wood. Appears to be a lighter colored wood. Nothing fancy, just rock solid. Not much color change in the lams.
I hogged out the inlet today so I could fit the Whiden V Block. It was setup (inletted) for a Savage Target action so the screw spacing was off for my lefty repeater action. That's where the V Block came in. ;) Lots of work to fit the block but the finished product will be well worth all the hard work.
The pattern is a Hydro Dip process (Carbon Fiber design) and it looks to have a red tint in the clear coat. About 1" deep. 8) Had to work "VERY CAREFULLY" ;) to keep from maring the finish. Lots of masking tape all over the stock. Got a partial bed on the block and I'll check it in the morning and do more badding. I hope it shoots as good as it looks. At least I know for sure it'll get lots of attention.;D
