I would love a light carry weight full out 20 Tactical for Coyotes, Foxes, and Groundhogs,I'm in North Carolina) built with a repeater Bat action,if they make a repeater), a Lilja 24 inch 3 or 4 contour barrel and a MacMillan or Lone Wolf stock, but that would be at least $2500.00 done right, so I thought about buying one of these new lightweight Remington's in stainless steel, black varmint carry/bench stocks,I think it is model LV SS) and get it in .204 Ruger and then all I would have to do is rechamber to Tac 20 right? to have the same basic thing. Then I could true action and replace barrel & stock over time and could get close to my dream rig without too much wallet damage. What do people thing of this way of going about it? I wish so bad that Cooper or the new Dakota were repeaters, but such is life. I could not afford the Dakota, but the Copper is very possible, they even chamber the Tac 20) Maybe Ruger .204 is not enough to worry about different from the Tac 20 to justify the money---but a hard working guy deserves what he wants, right! Anyway, any input would be big help. I also want to know if I bought the Remington in .17 Rem. could I still use it for Tac 20 with the addition of new barrel?
Thanks in advance
