New to reloading, i need a little help.

Don't have a lot of extra, as I'm also new to reloading. If he's interested in doing any 6.5mm 147gr load development, I can kick in a couple hundred Hornady ELD-M 147gr bullets.

A list of what he could use might help. I'll see what I've got.
I know he was shooting factory Hornady ammo with 147's
Thank you

One should always help a fellow shooter I say...No good deed too small in the Shooting Community,
especially getting someone new into Competition shooting. All our Clubs need new blood.
Brett..PM me if theres anything Justin needs that I may have....ya never know.?
John

This is awesome Brett! I will look around and see what I can find. Sounds like he’s going to be set up! It would be awesome if every person on here could find a young person to help get started and grow our sport!

Justin texted back to me.
On hardware, he said he needs feeler gauges and a comparator.
I think I have the feeler gauges covered (have four sets), but use my comparator multiple times per year.
Anyone here have a spare comparator?

Hey Brett,
Is there anything that YOU need that you two can share?
Thanks for putting this together, we can't do enough for our veterans
Steve, I'm pretty good on my supplies since I scored a bunch if 123gr bullets for my 6.5cm. This freed up my powders for the 6.5-284.
I did a quick search for load data on Justin's 6.5 PRC to find suitable powders. The RL26 I had was a no brainer for the cause, it should push the 136's down range with authority.

I informed Justin to stay off GunBroker after finding out that's where he was trying to find components, and prompted me to help him out. I pointed him to PV, Mid South, & Natchez. I also strongly suggested he become a member of AS ,as some of the best shooter's and reloaders in the world share information here, and where I've learned a wealth of information, and gained many friendships.
We communicated by text briefly yesterday, he is truly blown away by the help and support from everyone, as am I.
I'll get with him mid week to look at his setup and have him comprise a list of the stock he has on the way.
I walk him through setting up dies using feeler gauges and sizing/prepping brass, then move to bullet sorting.
Hopefully we can have a OCW test shot within the next week or so, followed by a seating depth test.

U r doing a bang up job there Bc'z helping a new guy out Bro. I totally understand what it's like because I have two guys here that I am actively helping them get set up to shoot and hoping we get a place really soon that we can shoot 1000 yds. We have been promised a spot but it is still not confirmed by the land owner.
