New to F-class

Im looking to start a build on an F-class rifle. I was just wondering if there was a link around to give me specific rules to build my rig around.

I am not sure about here but I think that north state shooting club has the F-Class rules posted...pretty basic other then weight and that no part of the stock rests on the ground. Front bag, bipod, rear bag...under 30 cal.

F T/R is .308 or 223 only...your safe at or under 18 pounds.

F-Open- under 30 cal at or under 22 pounds.

7stwhunter,

You'll find the basics at this link:

http://usfclass.com/rules.aspx

And from there you can get to the NRA Rules Link, there is a little more to it than just caliber, which is .35 max) and weight.

It's easy to get hooked!

Enjoy,

The US is still not on the same page with the majority of other F-Class countries,Gratuitous jab: F-Class was created in Canada, by Kamloops shooter George Farquarhson, hence the "F") However, best to know the rules where you are going to shoot. You yank guys have some of the best ranges, and absolutely some the best people/shooters to hang with, I'll give you that!!! You guys rock!

G'day, eh?

Ian

Ian,
We may not be on the same page as some other countries, but then our F-Class is growing by leaps and bounds. Could there be a connection between this and the two pages?

NRA rules located at: http://www.nrahq.org/compete/RuleBooks/HPR/hpr-index.pdf
See Section 22. ICFRA rules are not that much different, but do not apply in the USA.
