new to 6mm br

I have just had a 6mm br built for me on a rem 700 action trued with a lilja barrel in 1in8 for the 105-107gn slugs could you please help me with some starting loads and some loads that seem to be working for you guys. any other advice would be greatly appreciated

i did my first lot of grouping today at 100 metres while breaking in the barrel. I shot the last group of the day into .350 with 30 grains of varget and the 29.5 load put 4 into 250 but the first shot from the clean barrel went high to open it up to .600 iam using 105 hornady A-MAX just touching the lands. is there any tips or hint i can use to pick up help shrink the groups a little any help would be very much appreciated.

try a better bullet and play with seating depth.

Outside of the full blown custom bullets, that 105 Hornady A-max will flat out shoot
a lot of bullets out of a 6mmBR. Out of a good rifle they will easily do an inch at 300 yards all day long, and varmints do not like them at all.

Tip: don't shoot the fouler in the group...

I found two zero,?) nodes in my 6BR with Shilen barrel. One using 25.5 Varget and another at 28.5 gr; I never went up from there. I'm only shooting at 300 meters so I opt for the lower charge in an attempt to reduce barrel wear.
