New Tiger Go Wild, 6.5 Creed

Haven't been on on the site for awhile, the work thing gets in the way, however, ordered a Ruger, All American, Go Wild, in 6.5.
Needed a lite rifle, as all my others are heavy barrel. This will be second 6.5 . Any thoughts or experiences much appreciated.
All my research kept pointing me in this direction. Thanks in advance.
Ps, title was supposed to say Ruger, not tiger!

That was one of the many reviews, and searches I read and heard of.
My first choice, was a 7-08, found one on line, price was great. Went to my dealer, he tried to find one, and he is a Ruger dealer. Couldnt find one. The size five was second choice, due to already have one, (That shoots out lites), but this is to be a lite carry gun. No regrets, it'll work just fine. Rifle feels and looks great. Still want a seven o eight though!

Ps, just found a great article on a Magpul stock that available. If I can't get the stock , stock to shoot, maybe I'll go that route.
Good info on stiffening avail also!

Guys, I have a bit of a range report, don't know, or do downloading, but was very pleasantly surprised with the ease I had in getting this this to shoot. I did a abbreviated clean and shoot session, function was as designed, no jam ups, magazine worked fine. Did final clean up. Had two boxes ammo, federal premium , 140 Berger match, and Hornady Whitetail, 129, Interlock bullets
Fired THREE, three shot groups, with each. Shot the Bergers first, aggregate was 5/8 group, but the first two would usually touch. Repeat with the 129 Interlocks, same thing, but the groups were tighter, tighter, closer to 1/2 .
I had taken rifle apart, and adjusted trigger, it is better, but will revisit it later. New spring, or cut spring. Barrel clearance is very good .
I'm over all very impressed with this rifle, given the price, and performance, also knowing it will improve over time. Off the inexpensive rifles that are around now, this one so far, has exceeded my expectations, but then again, from all the press I read on it before buying it, its all proving to be factual. Ps, the muzzle brake on this rascal really barks! Any thoughts or comments?

I picked up a bergara hunter in 6.5 a while back and I don't think the stock Ruger's or new 700's will ever turn my head again
I too have had my hands on one of those, and may at some time revisit thst one, as ive heard they flat out shoot. Remi gton is no longer part of my vocabulary. They were at one time the only guns in my cabinet. They are terrible NOW! As I mentioned before, I was in need of a lite carry gun, that this one provided for a decent price.
I'm assuming you're talking about a B14? They are very nice, love the stock! And their barrels are awesome. They make CVA's barrels. Good luck with the Bergara!

I agree, all the velocities seem low. My rifle likes the American whitetail 129 factory ammo very well. I handload, but this stuff shoots!

I traded for a Winchester .270 awhile back and it shoots AW 130s into virtually one hole. No need to reload for it.

A little update, couldn't get the Bergara out of my head. Bought one in the Ridge model, in 7-08. Love it, haven't bern able to shoot it yet, but will soon. Im hooked!

For a rifle in its price range, or for that matter, any price range, it shoots darn well.
I've got to work on the trigger spring a little, but other then that, no issues. No contact with stock, or anything else. And it dosent weigh 12 pounds either!
Resized some brass fired from it, effortless. Which means tight chamber. I'm impressed!
