You don't know for sure if it has been damaged. Always remove the doubt and return to sender. Get a new one. Old AGRI would contact midway about the damage lance on this site would I think would have packed it properly

Call Sightron they might give you a new set...they have very good costumer serviceI as well had a S6 that I purchased from Midway come with an open factory box. Scope has functioned well. Missing from the box was the front scope flip up cap. I contacted customer service at Midway as was told I would have to return the scope in order to get the cap. Wasn’t worth my time! Obviously, something nefarious is occurring in their shipping department. No longer doing business with Midway after 30 yrs. Todd
