Boss had a good intro on these in the Bulletin.
Has anyone got to see or get behind one yet?

I Picked up the SVSSED 10-50x60 and tell you what..not disappointed, but then always end up being disappointed
I hear what your saying, excited about the internal zero hard stop then let down by no new reticle designs. I like the moa2 reticle ok and never had the illumination on the dot before, so went ahead and picked up a 6-24x50 this morning. It fits my price point and Sightron’s service is stellar.Sightron is so outdated and boring. The features on the scope look great but they still stick with the same old 4x mag range of 6-24 and 8-32. And horrible reticle choices as usual.
Why go thru all that R&D to make a new scope and not revamp to reticles that they KNOW people want and use at least 5x mag range, maybe even 6x?
I’ve never owned a Sightron but have always wanted to try one if they could ever step up to the plate and match other modern optics features and mag ranges out there. Every time I hear Sightron has released something new I get excited thinking I might finally buy one, but then always end up being disappointed when I read the specs. They are hopeless...
My next purchase in the mid price point optics will be Meopta Optika6 in 4.5-27x50.
Yeah it’s like they don’t even try to listen to the demands of their customers. Completely out of touch with the current industryIf Sightron would fit their SVSSED with a 55x or 60x
and something like Vortex's ECR-1 reticle, they'd sell like a new batch of primers.

they are boring, they flat ass shoot. I think that is what it's all about...... jimSightron is so outdated and boring. The features on the scope look great but they still stick with the same old 4x mag range of 6-24 and 8-32. And horrible reticle choices as usual.

Yes I actually have.Have you let Sightron know & why you feel this way ?
I have had about every different kind of scope out there and none of the numbers lined up temperature change and you are off, everybody eyes are different so numbers on the parallax are a joke. .... jimI have 4 big 10-50x60 sightron scopes. Only thing I don’t care is no yardage numbers on side range turret. Sad. It would be nice if they put some yardage numbers on them like every one else. Other than that love them. MD
The one screw on the turrets does seem to be the exact same on the new model.I have a SIII 6-24 FFP that I really like. Great glass (to my eye) and a real solid value. The 4x ratio doesn't bother me. I agree that the MOA2 (?) reticle is a little outdated. I also wish it had zero stop and I had bought the illuminated model. Oh well, that's on me.
The one thing that bothers me on mine is the turret screws. I don't ever feel confident that I can get them tight enough. Was that remedied in the new model? It still appears to be one central screw.
Not sure why range of magnification is exciting . I would guess 90% of shooters never change it or if they back off a bit for mirage the amount of range of magnification is irrelevant. Crosshairs are up to the individual so changes just to say it's the latest greatest doesn't mean a lot. I would think it would be wise for all scopes to offer one conventional style straight cross hair or with a single dot version. I have had a 10x50x60 SVSSED side focas for several years. Very bright, holds POI, clicks are repeatable, that is all exciting to me. I often see 6mm holes at 500 yrs when others with more power ask me where they are hitting. Good scopes, I am very happy.Sightron is so outdated and boring. The features on the scope look great but they still stick with the same old 4x mag range of 6-24 and 8-32.
