That’s a lot more than you’ll get from Berger.A Sierra rep reached out and wanted the lot number. It's refreshing to see they are watching and DO care. 1 in probably 6000 bullets? Chances of it happening again?
I asked for nothing, they owe me nothing, but went above and beyond.

Awhile back Sierra replaced 1500 ct. 131 gr. 25 cal. bullets for a shooting buddy of mine due to random base to ogive measurements. Very easy to communicate with Customer Service as I handled the return authorization for him.A Sierra rep reached out and wanted the lot number. Capstone replaced several malformed cases for me as well. When I had a few malformed cases in a new box of Lapua brass they sent me replacements without question.
Capstone has been very proactive (not just reactive) in these previous cases and I can't help but believe that if I ever had a problem with any Berger bullets (and I do shoot a bunch of Berger bullets) that they would be just as proactive in making things right.
This was pretty much the same issue I had with a 500 count box of Berger 6mm 105 hybrid target bullets. When I was emailed back from Berger, whoever the guy was pretty much insinuated that I was using inferior measuring equipment and was doing something wrong to be getting inconsistent measurements. What I think the problem was is that other bullets (possibly their VLD bullet) got mixed in with that lot. He was insistent that Berger’s quality control would “never” let anything like that happen. Even after I offered to ship the bullets back to them, he made no offer to inspect or to make right.Awhile back Sierra replaced 1500 ct. 131 gr. 25 cal. bullets for a shooting buddy of mine due to random base to ogive measurements.
