New sierra 107s

Core comes up to the “tip”, and jacket does not appear to have been trimmed; perhaps a shorter jacket escaped detection during that lot run? The ogive does seem to be formed, so likely made it through the pointing die.
Your seating stem obviously fit the ogive properly.
As Rickhem asks, and given that you appear to have stringent standards for all your components, how much in weight does this cartridge vary from a sample of your batch with the normal bullets?
Simple example of cross section of match bullet:

It will be interesting to see people’s match results with the new tipped 107’s. Results will show if the new tips run consistently true.
The old 107’s will be pretty hard to beat in my opinion. They just always shoot small n round.

Hate to say it but when acquisitions happen and everyone looks at how much return/money we making occurs…. Guess what typically happens. Lived through numerous acquisitions in my career in a different trade but it’s “all relative” … IMO
