Nylon brushes that have a female adapter included for some reason. Are they new?
I sure like this company’s other cleaning products.

Ok I was wrong these just come with female threads. Never seen this before and really don’t know what rods there intended for.

So riddle me this . Are these Brushes stiffer than a standard nylon brush ? I have a adapter I've had for years .

Edit: The 22cal Dewey's I think have 8-32 8-36 threads but the larger rods have an oddball thread 12-28 which is probably why they give you the adapter when buying those so you can use others std male threaded brushes and jags.

I have the stainless Dewey rods and was confused by the 8-36 male thread replies.

All of our Stainless Steel Rods are female ended. The .17 caliber rods have female 5/40 threads and the .22 caliber & .27-.34 caliber both have female 8/32 threads.

8-32 is the "standard" male jag/female rod thread setup, as far as I know. I don't know what the male rod/female accessory size is, as I've tried to avoid it for interchangeability's sake. I do have a rod that came with a Toz free pistol that is male rod, but that's a one-off (as is the pistol.)

I have Dewey rods. I have adapters that allow me to use male jaggs& brushes on the male rods. Midway has them.

I'm aware of that, Texas; I avoid them so I don't have to buy and store the adaptors. My Dewey rods are female 8-32's (though I also understand the requirement if you're shooting a smaller caliber that my rods won't fit.) Easier for me to have a single type.
