New Savage single shot action

Does anyone know if you can hang a different competition trigger on this new action, like a jewell or shilen?

Have you tried the trigger on this action? I've tried the Accutrigger on the new long range Savage single action left port right bolt and was very impressed. The trigger adjusts down to 6oz., is crisp, and creep free. I have Jewell triggers on my customs, Rifle Basix on others, and would be happy with the 6oz. Accutrigger with no change.

I don't believe you can put any of those on that action. I have been looking to do the same myself, but have only been able to find the rifle-basix that will go down to 4oz. I have read that Jewell had a savage trigger in the works, but did not put it into production. I have to admit that the accutrigger on my action is crisp, repeatable, and very light,not quite up to true benchrest standards, but not bad either). I have not had the problems with the accutrigger not being consistent as some have mentioned previously. As long as i don't slam the bolt down it works every time.
