New rifle from Ruger from the custom shop. Specifically for PRS. It is meant for the production class. Saw one first hand yesterday. It is pretty cool. The sponsored shooter did well with it. He finished 2nd overall, not bad.

I agree, I would actually like to have one but it'd be my 3rd 6cm.
Looks like a good option for the production class. I thought the limit was $2000, but maybe that is based on the street price or maybe the raised the limit up to $2400.
Where might one read about the finale and the ensuing shit show?

How is that GAP production class rifle a production class rifle?! Lol
Under the new rules this year it should minimize the bullshit but its 2 years too lately honeslty. But it has brought alot of price points that are great for the consumer. I mean a 2,500$ GAP was un heard of before. It's a great deal anyway you slice it.
I have never seen the series regulate any rifles or equipment anywhere. Such as velocity for tactical division to make sure certian people arent running 155gr bullets at 3000fps. Or 6 creedmoor at 3200.
And the cheating of patrick Proctor was a shit show and a black eye for team K&M. Shannon Kay gets alot of hate for lack of accountability.
If it wasnt the only PRS/Field rifle match near me I wouldnt bother. But the good news in the next couple of years some rebel series should be coming up in order to fix all the bad shit that the PRS has fostered.
I never understood why they never did a hunter class. With 12 lbs weight limits with all accessories included and 1 round per target on the same stages. In order to mintage the barrel heat for hunter class.
But it's not my show to run and I dont know every detail. But it ain't my full time job either.
