Heck it’s not really that bad of a deal on the little revolver with both .22lr and .22Mag cylinders.Hand inserted by skilled operators into the most sophisticated laser engraving machine in the house
Don't get me wrong, I generally like Ruger. But, they do have a way of throwing collectors into a tizzy. I won't be surprised if there's ten of them stocks made that have the chicken facing the other direction just so Ruger collectors will have something to beat each other up over on GunBroker in ten years.Heck it’s not really that bad of a deal on the little revolver with both .22lr and .22Mag cylinders.
Lol, about as much love for Ruger here as Hornady.
Yes, it’s a little much. I am a fan of the acorn leaves and basket stamping, but the spelling out of 10/22 and 2025 kind of takes that away.https://ruger.com/products/1022Sporter/specSheets/31237.htmlWood stocks are great. Hand carved can be works of art.
Laser engraving is ok for what it is. We owned a laser for quite a few years. It can enhance the looks of an item, but, it can also be taken a bit overboard. I think the rifle stock is the latter.
Hahaha. Yup, my son is a hand engraver (lbengravings) with a fine arts degree and is a member of FEGA. Don't get me started!Hand inserted by skilled operators into the most sophisticated laser engraving machine in the house
I noticed the rifle is not engraved on the left side, for whatever that’s worth.I like the pistol. I wouldn't refuse the revolver. The rifle would be gone as soon as I could find some patsy, uh collector, with money to part with.
More than likely.I wonder if they are also engraved with that iconic phrase, "PLEASE READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE USE".jd
What's not to like?.........(posted for a limited time.)The rifle reminds me of a tattoo covered woman. A little bit can be tasteful, but to me this is overdone.
