New Ruger 10/22 BX-Trigger

I applaud Ruger for doing this in an atmosphere ruled by lawyers but, when I can purchase Valquartsen parts for less than half the cost and get a better result, why would you want the BX?

I installed one for a friend. Pull weight was pretty close to 3 pounds with a pretty clean break. A good value in my opinion.

A well known 10/22™ trigger guy (apparent volcano lover, “Brimstone”) bought one just to see what up with the BX things. As delivered, pull weight was less but still the overly long catchy/scratchy this sux same as ever journey getting the thing to the break. Says the BX’s innards are much different so no mixing/swapping of parts between it and any of the originals. Also says he does see potential in the different BX geometry. Thinks he can make the BX safely pull lighter and feel even better than what he’s done with any of the original geometry. I’d like to try his BX, post tweaked. Until then, nobody can ‘better’ any Kidd offering.

Send your stock trigger to Brimstone or Randy at CPC to get a good trigger at a very reasonable price, or spend the money on a Kidd. See RimfireCentral.com for discussions on both and contact info for Brimstone and CPC.
