New Rifle from Shilen Swap Meet

Went to the swap meet yesterday and had a great time as usual. This is the 9th or 10th time I have been and I think this may have been the best turnout I have seen. I sold a few things and bought a BR rifle. Left my table to go to the restroom and came back with it. That may have been the most expensive trip to the bathroom I've had in my 58 years! Kinda gives a new meaning to BR rifle!

Anyway, This is a Stiller Viper action in a Kelblys stock. .30BR. The stock is red with a little metal flake in the clear. Really nice looking. When I pulled the barreled action this morning, written in sharpie in the barrel channel are the words " Launch Pad"

Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of the seller, but he didn't seem to know a whole lot about it anyway. If this was your rifle, or any of you know who's rifle it was, please let me know. I would like to have a little more info on it.

Some of you may remember the famous 22cal custom bullets hand made in Remington's Custom Shop. They were revered by many as the best 22 cal BR bullets made. Turk had 4000 for sale and like a fool I only bought 1000. They went quick.

30BR reamer has a 0.332 neck that chambered that barrel. i also used a 0.334 neck reamer
to create a no-turn neck. Do a chamber cast or fire form a 6mm BR cartridge with a 22 bullet then measure
fire formed case neck, should answer your question.

It was a very good turnout this year. I just attended this year, didn't feel like selling stuff. I bought a couple new barrel's for a new 10/22 build. They called me today, and said they are ready, I needed them threaded but didn't expect them to get them done so quickly.
Spent most of the day BS'ing with my ole friend Frank Vance. I saw Butch, but didn't get a chance to say Hi.

Good luck on your new rifle, riverman1.

Frank is a trip isn't he. We go back about 30yrs. He goes to the same church as my Sister and BIL. How do you like his CNC machined brass?

I've known Frank a long time, he's a character. I really was intrigued with his brass, he must've been really bored to dream that up.
His first brass was a 223 that he shot at the Cumby, Tx range. He is or was shooting sub sonic rounds. Some that he had Saturday were 22RF size.
