New Remarms M700 trigger

I recently picked up a new old stock 700 SPS in 308 The serial number starts with RAXXXXX I understand that is new Remarms number produced after 2014. ( when the recall ended). Remarms starts on April 2021.

The trigger looks like the XMP that was recalled. Are they still using the XMP with a "fix" to prevent accidental discharge?

Jeff - Didn't Remington file for bankruptcy in 2018?
And, I thought Remarms started new production in 2021 sometime.

Yes - Remarms started making rifle in April of 2021. Just looking at the trigger in this new rifle looks like an XMP style. - I edited my firt post to clarify the recall ended in 2014.

After all the rannygazoo they went through with their trigger I'd up the price $200 or so and sell the gun without the trigger.

The recall was too much of some sealant when assembling the trigger. I guess the fix was use less?
