New Rear Bag Info

What I have is a 3/4 inch wide flat bottom benchrest stock. I would like to know what the prefered spacing between the ears would be, also where to ride the stock? On the stitching or up a little. I'm looking at the SEB bag, Ernie has 1/2 inch in stock and if they make me 1 of a different size it should be 6 weeks or so. I'm in no hurry so the wait does not bother me. I like this bag over the others. Thank you for any info given.

I am pretty sure if you call these guys they also make a stock with a 3/4" rear and I think they have Protektor make bags extra wide specifically for them called a "Shehane Stitch".
The Seb bags are great and reasonably priced and if you decide to order a 3/4" one let me know and I would like to get one also.

Donnie, I have the edgewood bag with 3 stitches for the Shehane stock. My stock does not go all the way to the bottom.
It should but it seems to ride about 1/4" up from the stitches. The bottom is not quite wide enough. Sebs bags are good. And Seb is a good man to deal with. I have had questions in the past and he answered them with no problem.

call me some time Joe

Protektor will make any size you want. I had one made with 1" at the bottom they filled it with heavy sand and shipped it for $135.00 it works perfect for off the bench and"F" Class. ( Edgewood will not make custom Bags I tried them first)
