And many hand made custom bullets are no more expensive than 'big box' bullets. There are plenty of light 30 cal bullets from berger, Speer Sierra and Hornady, off the top of my head, in addition to any customs.

Anything 110-115 gr for 17-18 twist. You don’t want much heavier or faster twist or bullet than that because the torque and recoil is already bad enough on on the 30bra as is.
I would guess you aren’t having a lot of call for it because you aren’t offering it. I shoot a Krieger barreled 6bra in 600/1000 br but my range has UBR matches also. If I had a 30br barrel I’d gladly screw it on for them as a quick barrel swap and save the wear on my bra barrel, just thinking surely I can’t be the only one

Recoil is an issue with lots of folks, shooting BR or otherwise. From my experiences there is a marked difference in my 13.5 lb IBS rifles with a 17 vs a 14 twist. The 14 is noticeably sharper and torques the rifle in the bags handsomely. If I were going to use a 1.080" jacket bullet I would go with the 14. 1" jacket or shorter the 17 works fine. I've had two 18 twist barrels. I shoot near sea level, and have not found them as accurate as my 17's. JME.I would at least consider it. For anyone that likes a super accurate and easy to load for cartridge, it's about the best of the best and is a very viable, light recoiling hunting round too. It sells itself once people start playing with it. You could just spec a zero freebore no turn or light turn neck, or both. It's not a long range cartridge but is superb and might be the easiest cartridge to load for, ever. Certainly not telling you what to do at all but it's a great cartridge for anyone that likes to push the easy button on tiny groups. A 30 Major is really the only thing close to it. Most BR shooters use a really slow, 17-18 twist bbl but I wouldn't hesitate trying a faster twist if that's what I had for plinking. I don't think many are gonna notice the difference, aside from the BR crowd.
I may know a guy or two who would want one. I will pass this on.Just added 222 Rem.

What's the freebore and do you have any 14 twist barrels?
DJBS is top notch a true first class service 5 stars rating all the way!Mike, I sure agree with you re: the concept. My concern is more along the line of the end users being able to make good cases. Then again, maybe a package deal with brass from DJBS would work too. -Al
What is your lead time now to get a barrel done and out? I might give a 12 twist a go.
For the 6BRA shooting Berger 88 FBs to Sierra 107 boat tails and Berger 105 regular BT Targets, is the .160 FB chamber the way to go? I took some measurements with the .05 FB barrel I got from you and it looks like even a 80 FB will fit in the long neck just fine.
I'm talking about the .160 freebore. I think it was confusing since I meant even the Berger flat base would seem to work OK with the .160 freebore. So I'm going to order the 6BRA with .160 freebore if you think it's fine for the 107 Sierras and Berger 105 BTs.
Couple more questions before I order. Do you think a brake would be a good idea for shooting the heavier bullets (105-107)? Does threading the muzzle have ANY effect on accuracy?
Got it ordered so get busy and get to work!LOL
What bullet have you found to be the most accurate at short range with your 6BRA 8 twist barrel?
Have you tried the Berger 90 BT targets?
When can you get the 14 twist 22 barrels?
The freebore is fixed for each reamerI'm totally ignorant about reamers. Is the freebore number just fixed for each reamer or can you change it?
