Here is the list of new reamers that I am looking to get for chambering.

22-250
22-250 Ackley
22 BR
22 BRA
22 Creedmore
6 Creedmore
6.5 Creedmore
6 Dasher
6 GT
6BR Zero FB
284

I will also be offering Rock Creek button barrel blanks for an additional charge. I can get these in the faster twists also.

Comments?

22 GT is gaining momentum in PRS, might be worth considering as well

The GT is actually only on the maybe list. It seems like it is the ultimate tweener cartridge of the lot.

Was considering the 6x47lapua but 6xc does everything it does.

There is too much history of reamer, sizer, brass compatibility issues with 6xc. I haven’t talked to anyone who is choosing that as a new cartridge to get into.

Brass you don’t have to fireform for the GT is why a lot of new folks are choosing it over 6x47, though peterson brass is now avail for that.

You dont have to fireform 6x47 as far as I know.

You get what you pay for. ;)

Good to see ZERO F B on the BR reamers.
Not everyone wants to shoot heavies.
Also consider "no turn necks" for the 22 BR and 6 BR.
More trigger time and less time messing with neck turning. :D

Hmmm... well.

My customer Ed Kern sent me this target from his club match at 300 yards. This was my first Savage large shank I ever did. I contoured the barrel and chambered it in 6 Dasher. This is a Wilson.

I would go for a 22-250. I have a pile of large rifle primers and 55 gr. bullets and three target rifles that use small rifle primers.

I have yet to have a customer tell me cost makes no difference, but I'll keep waiting.
What it comes down to is: If you've got something I want, and the price isn't "that far" above something else, "and I want it", I'll pop for it and never give it a second thought.
Spend $300.00 or $400.00 + for a custom chambered or pre fit barrel, THEN after a bit, pull it and ship it off to get custom fluting work done for another $300.00+?
To me, not an issue. I wanted it, I got it and am not looking back. :D

That's like spending $400.00 or $500.00 for a rifle THEN spending another $1,500.00/$2,000.00 + for a high end scope. If it's what you want, go for it!
You're only going around one time (unless you're Shirley MacLane) so you better enjoy it. You can't take it with you? Life is WAY TOO SHORT to not enjoy what you like and I've never seen an Armored Car following a Hearse. ;)

Oh, I agree. But my customers are more cost conscious, and that is just fine with me. It is my goal to offer reasonably priced target rifle solutions for the club shooter, and then shock the people that insist on spending a lot more. :)

That is the goal of my company. Reasonable prices, fast delivery, easy solutions, upgradeable self assembly, and good customer support.

Seems to be working too.

Upgrading blanks can easily double the price. Most people want to stay around $300 for a prefit. A Rock Creek blank is almost that much. Then $250 labor minimum to make it.
