New Quickload data?

Anyone gotten the 3.9 Quickload update? Guess I will order it anyway but I was wondering if the powder data base by any chance now includes Alliant 2000-MR?

No, because Alliant themselves claims to not have that data. Apparently it's made outside the U.S. and while they are able to import the *powder*, they haven't been able to get the burn characteristics info due to ITAR treating the data as a separate entity from the profuct.

That kind of pegs my personal BS meter, that they would sell a product that they can't get the supporting data for, especially in this litigation-happy society... but that's theit story and they're sticking to it.

I emailed the folks that distribute it here in the US, and they replied today saying that 3.9 is ONLY a fix for Windows 10. Saves me $15.

I agree on the BS meter!

In that case, I probably better get it... the SSD on my old laptop died, and the new one runs Win10. Still have an install on a Win7 VM, but it's somewhat more convenient to run it natively.

Alliants website says PP2000MR is made in the US.

Ive read that PP2000mr and CFE223 may be the same. (Made by St. Marks in FL) Samples look the same, and my rifle using pp2kmr and a buddy who used cfe223 were nearly identical in .223 with 80.5s and 90vld bullets.

Its not scientific and not a sure thing.. but it might help you start somewhere.

Be aware that Quickload handles things a little different than most software. There are software upgrades and data updates. If what you asked for is a software upgrade to 3.9 they may not have realized what you really wanted. I see that they released a data update September 2015. I have skipped the last couple updates so I am getting this one.
