Just curious.... did everyone receive a text today for the Winchester #41's at Midway?
 
Out grabbing lunch, Midsouth did say in stock again for a minute.

Don't have the logs in front of me but I saw in-stock.

Will grab logs when I get home and post.

Also noticing a delay in SMS between sending to the first and last person on the list...

Just bought 10 more phone numbers, I'll write the code to divide y'all up evenly between the numbers so we can get the pings out ever faster.

In this case it was about 30 seconds, and that was the difference between in-stock and out. (still not sure what is going on at midsouth, but I'll informal yall even if its a false ping. If we find it in stock, we let you know.)

With 10 new numbers we can drop that down to 3 seconds.

Same thing as yesterday regarding midsouth, flashed in stock for less than 1 minute, and we let y'all know.

Not sure if they are just releasing a few bricks here and there or could be having website issues.

Regardless, I'll keep an eye on it.
 
Thanks for keeping us posted, Storm, on what your log data shows. It's helpful to know that an "Available" event was so short-lived.

Also nice to know your scraper is so responsive. You must have a very short sampling interval.

Yes sir, short sampling means knowing sooner and there is a better change of getting primers.

Also the reason the system is expensive to keep live. Which is why I had to charge even when we had issues.

We are close to the break even point on server cost vs memberships.
 
Signed up a couple days ago and was happy to see the ping today at least. Keeping my fingers crossed there is a big drop sometime soon that this helps us get the head start on. Thanks for putting it together!

I am a huge data/log fan.

If you make very detailed logs we can fix any problem and explain any solution.

Its all about knowing exactly what happened


Most "Available" events are longer but not by much.

Hopefully as things calm down we will see longer times.


As we collect more data I can make graphs and plot things out for y'all.
 
todays ping caught me where I could not react. That is bound to happen. Glad I got the ping though

I do not believe they are able to purchase via bots. Payment processors algorithms are specifically designed to combat that.

I think more likely they are just releasing them out in batching of like 5 thousand or as previous orders cancel they are putting them back on sale, but in tiny quantities.
 
Please advise when you've added Large Pistol Primers and Large Rifle Primers. I've got Small rifle and Small pistol running out my ears. Can't post anywhere around here for trading as the listing on CL or FB are pulled almost before they go up.

They don’t, your just getting to the game late if you only have a minute to buy. By the time you get a ping a lot of guys are 10-15 minutes or more ahead of you and I mean a lot LOL
