Wow!!! Thank you everyone. I was very fortunate it worked out so well.
Jeesh Tod...only 18x's on the last string? I'd trash that barrel.
That is a phenomenal looking score card. I moved to Arizona a year ago. I have shot a fair amount of 500 yard matches and a few 600 yard matches. To be quite honest, I have found, on the whole, that 500 seems more difficult than 600 does. I know it's all M.O.A. targets, however, it appears to me to be a bit more difficult. Why I do not know. In any event, that card is incredible looking.. Well done! Well done indeed!!

I have thought of that and it may be the reason. There is another thought though too. The scoring rings on the 300 yard targets are "pencil thin" and does not take much to leak out those shots. On the 600 yard targets the scoring lines are the same width as the 1000 yard targets>>>which does make that easier, at least in my mind. On the 500 yard target, the scoring lines are just a little heavier than the 300 and no where near the 600 targets. Maybe that has something to do with the degree of difficulty too! I don't know for sure.. But it has to be one or the other! LOL!!!Have only shot 500 at the nationals. Around Wisconsin it's almost all 600 for mid-range. I find the same to be true. Thinking it's the vertical numbering. I assume that I use the numbers for horizontal/waterline reference and for sure holds.
Now that's an impressive score card! Good shooting.
Great shooting, but damn, we were waiting for the NRA to send Madison's 200-19 record in the mail. Congratulations!
Oh man, I sure hope she gets her certificate. She broke and held the record so seems like a slam dunk.Great shooting, but damn, we were waiting for the NRA to send Madison's 200-19 record in the mail. Congratulations!
You forgot the "I cleaned it bright clean" excuse. You should have heard him in the pits after relay 1: "I think this barrel is done, it's just doesn't seem like it's holding very tight. It only put up 13 X's and it's got 1500 rounds, I'm probably gonna pull it after today". LOL... and relay 1 had the best conditions of the day!
