hey fellas has anyone bought or heard about the new nikon monarc 8-32 scopes. thinking of buying one. i owned a couple on nikons but they're buckmasters. i love there scopes. looking to replace a swift 8-32 thats on my bench gun now witha little better optics. thanks

I'm using two of the newer Monarch SF scopes..a 3-12 & a 5-20..even on LR p/dog rifles..I've never seen the need for the 8-32s...6-20s have always worked just fine...once past 20x the mirage factor really shows up....

the scope will be used for comp shooting at 2, 3, and 400+ yards i need 32 power. i can back down the power if i need to but i don't want anything under 32.

i have a new one right here !
clear and brite even on 32x !
but only 20 MOA built in so make sure you use burris sig rings with the inserts or you'll run out of up clicks fast !
