New Model 70 replacement trigger

Hi, I have a new Model 70 Winchester with the MOA trigger. I am looking for a replacement trigger, as I don't care for the MOA trigger. I have searched the net and could only find a Timmey trigger that would fit. Does anyone else make a good trigger for the replacement of the MOA trigger? At one time I thought I saw a Jewel and Bix and Andy trigger but I don't see them listed anymore.

Jewell makes a good one. Try Great Scott's triggers.

Jewell makes one but I dont think it will fit the new model 70's.

I'm not sure what you are using the rifle for, but if you want a nice two stage, it is pretty hard to beat this one.

I'm not sure how low you want to go on pull wt, but I replaced my MOA with a Timney and I have it set at 2# on a hunting rifle. It fit good and works well.

If your rifle is of current production after Winchester left New Haven, the Jewell will not fit. Sorry. LDS

I have a few of the Winchester Police, Kenyon Type Triggers we made for Department of Defense and FNMI Sniper Rifles . There are Some for the Old US Repeating Winchesters and The offset FNMI Winchesters . It was a bitch trying to get that trigger to the light pull because Mr Kenyon hand filed the triggers to his tolerance from what I heard . They sent me 4 Remington's and 4 Winchesters and I purchased some off the Internet and none would interchange so we scanned them all at the College and we Made them to the middle of the tolerance and it worked . I sure would like to get one of there laser scan Imaging machine.s I will have the guys put them on the Cabin Fever Sales add on our web site in the next few days, Remington and Winchester type adjustable down to a very [ light ] Spider walk pull. We also have a batch of ANSCHUTZ trigger hanger conversion housings for 700 Remington and clones coming thru the shop . Thanks Dave

I have a Model 70 7mag. I replaced the MOA trigger with the Timney. It works good, pulls about 2#'s and crisp. The 2 I don't care for is the shape of the trigger shoe which is almost straight. And I had to grind it down so the bottom of the shoe wouldn't touch the trigger guard.
