Just introducing myself as I finally created an account. I have learned an immense amount off the knowledge of the members here and want to thank all for sharing. I am a sometimes a tactical shooter and mostly FTR now. Retired Army and living in South Texas now. Currently shoot midrange at CTSA and LR at Bayou when I can make it. I would like to thank Ken and Don for taking their time to be match directors at either club, it's a necessary part of every match that few are willing to do. Also have learned so much from great shooters at both clubs, many who take time to help others here on the forum. Both are great clubs and would recommend either to anyone who is looking to compete. If you see a long-haired redneck behind a TR rifle, or others making fun of someone's reloading technique at either club it's probably me. Feel free to stop and say hello.

P.S.
Ben is 100% correct about the competition level at bayou, real easy to feel great about your last string until you look at scoresheet and see what everyone else just shot.
