New member, new build. Need some advice

Okay, thank you for your time and information by the way. The more I look into these actions, the more variations I see you can actually have.. I understand there are Sako extractors and M16 extractors (and slide extractors which I assume are the same as M16).... what is the difference? All I can find on them is that the M16 is more sought after because of safety concerns... But what makes the M16 so much safer and how does each work?

Just wanted to point out a valuable resource. There is a series of videos on youtube regarding long range shooting by a guy who calls himself Tiborasauarus Rex. The series is called Sniper 101. The first 25 videos are all about selecting the proper equipment. Selecting the proper caliber is the first important decision to make and it needs to be made early on (+1 for .260). The second big decision is selecting an appropriate scope. He has 5 or 6 videos on this subject. This is the most complete treatment of long range shooting I have seen so far. Check it out...
