New Member Introductions

Welcome aboard from another old Orygun guy just north of you in central OR.

Been here since 1975, seen it go from great to......well, libtards in Ptld are in charge if that says anything. But from experience, it still beats the hell out of commiefornia!

Get a case trimmer. I have one just for my 223 brass made by Worlds Finest Trimmer. Trims a lot of brass in a hurry. I have 2, one for 204 and one for 223. Mine are the original. I could have just used the one and changed the cutters, but I am too lazy to spend time setting it up every time I change calibers. BTW I am 73 and have been reloading since he early 70's. Now a days arthritis keeps me from manually doing a lot of things.

I also have an RCBS electric trimmer. This one,RCBS Trim Pro-2 Power Case Trimmer Kit (midwayusa.com)

Worlds Finest Trimmers and Case Preparation (littlecrowgunworks.com)
I have a Lee case trimmer for the .223, but of course can't use it on primed cases. The WFT looks good. Is it good for all calibers as is? Appreciate the input!!

I just buy a dedicated trimmer for each cartridge. As mentioned before, setting them up “exactly” takes some time. I set it up just right and leave it there.

Thanks for having me..I really enjoy reading the posts and have been assisted many times by some very smart guys...I live in Virginia and have been reloading for about 51 years...started in college when I was broke most of the time.
This group of guys here will help you take your 51 year skillset in reloading to a higher level, welcome aboard.

Thanks guys...I do pretty good since I load entirely for hunting rifles. Largely .270. 270WSM, 7MMmag, .308 and 300 Weatherby.....I started asking questions about technical stuff to get a new .308 that I got just to play at the range with to shoot better....boy I got conversations with guys that had my head spinning on the stuff they did and how much they put into brass prep. etc......made my day.
