Hi Everybody,
My supply of the old Master and Midas lines of Lapua 22 ammo is running low in both the L and M sizes. I have a couple of prone rifles that really shoot the L series exceptionally well. I always attributed this to the bullet being larger in diameter than the M series. With that being said I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me the diameter of the driving bands on the new lines of Lapua ammo in either their 'X-act','Midas+', or 'Center-X' brands.
I have checked everyplace I could think of and not even the Lapua site itself mentions the diameter of the new 40 grain bullet being used. They claim that they took what they learned from the Midas and Master program to create their new lines of ammo and I'd really like to know what bullet diameter they chose to use.
Thank you for your time!
DonL
