Memphis Sport Shooting Association, MSSA, will host their first
IBS 600 yd match in March. They had a warm up
Sunday and here are few pics of the range.

Great pics wish I coulda made it. Kinda disappointed they did away with the pits, I liked pulling targets. I know most guys will think I nuts. Looking forward to March.

The Pits are still there and the target carriers have been improved upon as well.. Just wish that they would keep the impact area cleaned up so that it would be easier to see the bullet impacts.

600 yard IBS Benchrest matches will use the gongs
as sighters. Paper targets will be mounted above
gongs.

Here is a Link to MSSA which will give scheduled events
dates for all programs.
F-class, high power, benchrest, skeet, trap, pistol, cowboy
MSSA has about anything you want to shoot

I just want to say how proud I am of you guys getting all that work done this last summer. Alot of thought and hard work went into getting it this far. Great benches, and covered firepoint, Gongs that must have taken about 10 Man hours each to make. And to fight ( I mean negotiate) with the club to get a spot to store the gongs and targets. Its always 10% that do all the work and 90% who benefit from it. The first SOB that complains you have my permission to bury them out back in that creek. ( not that you need my permission)
I expect some IBS Records to fall here since this range holds well over 60 National Records in NRA prone Mid Range and F class. Need to take some pics in the summer when the trees and grass are all green and pretty.

Again great job.

What a beautiful range, looks like a place I would love to visit and learn how to shoot 600yds. If i show up this summer, somebody will have to point me to a great Rib joint and also where to go to listen to some good Blues. I always prepare just in case I shoot real bad, I can take some of the sting out with a good meal and great music.

Looks like an outstanding place to shoot.

Sure do wish it was closer, but I will try to make the journey........

Alf, if you come to Tenn. you will have to swing by my
place and we will shoot one - mile with the Dashers!!!
